    What Is the #LessMeat Pledge?
    Alterman and Kateman know it’s hard to go cold turkey on meat consumption. That’s why the movement is defined by eating less, not eating none. The #LessMeat Pledge is a promise to eat less meat for 30 days. You just sign up on their site and do your best to make substitutions for meat as much as possible for the next month. “I encourage a public commitment," says Alterman. "If you’re a private reducetarian, then you can only influence one person: yourself. Making a public commitment and encouraging friends to join can multiply your impact.”

    How Can You Join the Movement?
    If you’re crazy about meat, it’s all about baby steps. “With less meat and more fruits and veggies, reducetarians live longer, healthier, and happier lives," says Kateman. "They set manageable and therefore actionable goals to gradually eat less meat. For example, they may order a smaller steak, eat meat only on the weekends, or skip eating meat with dinner if they had it with lunch." Sounds pretty simple, right? It’s even easier when you try mouthwatering meat substitutes or figure out how to make salads taste just as delicious as they do in restaurants. Bon appetit!

  2. Im crazy about meat, but I heared somewhen that meat is not suitable for your body if you want loose weight... What about my own experience, I had one tme one week dedicated to my diet, so I was drinking much water, yogurt and many fruits, and there no was meat, no salt, no sugar... But it helped to me to loose 4 kilograms per one week!

    Well, I was never on diet, but I agree that eating meat is not a suitable way if you want to loose weight. Anyway, without doubt, sugar and sweets are forbidden!

    for sure eat sugar and sweets are not good, but without meat I cannot even work and live normal life. I have no energy if I refuse a meat in my ration. I tried many diets but this with no meat doesn't work with me. No no.. Maybe I can readuce a amount of it but not to eliminate this at all!:)

  5. No I am not on diet, I was not satisfied with my days when I feel that I m hungry always... Now i joy my life and eat what I want without any diets..

  9. I have read so many articles about diet, healthy food, vegetables, food without sugar and other things that I am really lost at all these advices. but for one I am sure, if you eat less, you will weight less, its simple

  10. liry vennna, I think there are more effective eays to loose weight than stop eating, dont you think so? all we need is just to know well our body, and try to keep balance..:)
